The team’s roots can be traced back to 1950 when it was originally founded as Scuderia Ferrari. In its early years, it was closely associated with the Italian car manufacturer Alfa Romeo and competed under the Alfa Romeo name. The team’s partnership with PKN Orlen, a Polish oil company, has been instrumental in its recent identity as Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen. Additionally, Alfa Romeo’s involvement as a title sponsor reflects the team’s close connection with the iconic Italian automotive brand. The withdrawl of Alfa Romeo sponsorship for 2024 and 2025 and the involvement of Stake will introduce a new era for the team, striving to push boundaries, innovation and excitement for the 2024 season.
With a renewed focus on performance and the development of young drivers, Kick Sauber is aiming to climb the ranks in Formula 1. Under the leadership of Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur, the team continues to work toward achieving greater success and building on its storied history in the sport.
